05/2009 - 10/2011Actor with Urban Pirates, Fells Point, MD.
Led Pirate Adventure cruises around the Baltimore harbor as "Mutinous Millie," a pirate character on the ship, The Fearless. Maintained the operation and safety of the ship and its passengers while performing in-character.
06/2010 - 08/2010Arts and Crafts Specialist at Camp Milldale, Reisterstown, MD.
Created and taught 50-minute, weekly lesson plans for 20 groups of children ages 5-15. Led four or more activities per day for groups of children with diverse needs and abilities, and additionally set up “Art to Go” kits for other groups. Organized, stocked, and maintained the arts and crafts room.
12/2009 - 02/2010Stage Manager at The Strand Theatre, Baltimore, MD.
Organized and maintained the technical aspects of the production of The Lacy Project, including blocking, costume design, properties construction, and mural painting. Acted as understudy for the title character, Lacy, as well as operated the light and sound cues during the run of the show.

Assisted studio and field crews with news coverage on Capitol Hill and the environs by maintaining and operating audio equipment and communicating with other television news bureaus.

Collected scientific information in the field on the behavior of primates for the Free-Ranging Golden Lion Tamarin program, and acted as an interpreter to the public for the exhibit. Collected data throughout the zoo grounds for the bird strike survey program.

Assisted the on-site veterinarian with basic surgical procedures, including the administration of medication. Responsible for the care, feeding, and observation of native wildlife in residence including songbirds, raptors, waterfowl, opossums, and reptiles. Capable of admitting new patients and giving tours of the facility to visitors.
